PRAGOELAST spol. s r.o. was founded in October 1995 as a subsidiary company of the former Pragocement a.s. (later being called Českomoravský cement a.s.) and of Heidelberger Elastomertechnik GmbH Haßmersheim , with the registered office in Heidelberg, Germany. In December 2000 Pragoelast s.r.o. became a 100% subsidiary company of the HET-Elastomertechnik GmbH, Haßmersheim, Germany.
This dynamic commercial and manufacturing company continued the long-term manufacturing experience in western Europe and uses the optimal combination of technology for very variable, however, efficient manufacturing. Approximately, 85% of the company’s products have been assigned for export and used not only in the EU countries, but also in America and in Asia.
Concurrently, Pragoelast s.r.o. has been employing more than 90 employees in the non-stop operation system and with its average output being ca 25 tons per day it is the biggest producer of parts and of a fitting from recycled rubber in the Czech Republic.
The products from recycled rubber have been significantly used in inland and foreign projects predominantly focused on the noise and vibration damping. In particular, these are the spheres of railway, road and tramway transport. The results of the measurements carried out after the application of the damping systems from recycled rubber prove significant decrease in vibrations in residential areas and decrease in level of noise in transport corridors. The assortment of the Pragoelast s.r.o. has found a wide application in the communal, respectively in the recreational sphere, in particular in the construction of recreational zones and playing fields, corridors for pedestrians, but also in tiling of balconies and swimming pools, etc. Our elastic and antiskid tiles have been tested and certified as for the critical height of fall in accordance with the ČSN EN 1176 and 1177, and they may be applied successfully for damping potential consequences of a fall from the height of up to 3.0 m.

Company’s manufacturing program, in particular its variability and flexibility has been a significant inspiration for project engineers and designers in all spheres. Next to the said advantages of the products, it is the requested elasticity of the products and of their damping capabilities, fitting and colourful variety, but also stability, ecological and hygiene harmlessness, and last but not least advantageous prices.
The possibility of repeated recycling of the already used products means also a big advantage.
